I don't know about you but I just love using crochet cotton washcloths. There is something to the feel of them when you are washing your face! They seem to cleanse your skin and help exfoliate but at the same time be so soft and gentle. I will never go back to store-bought washcloths again.
I love that you can wash and dry them over and over....they last such a long time. I love that you can use them as dishcloths and hot pads in the kitchen, or washcloths in the bathroom or burp cloths/washcloths for baby, and the fancier round designs make nice doilies and coasters ....so many uses! (Of course, you want a different set for each use..lol)
I love that they are an inexpensive but thoughtful gift, whether it's a housewarming, bridal shower and of course they are great for baby showers too!
My favorite thing though, is making them...you can crochet so many different styles, patterns, colors and shapes...there are endless possibilities! They work up quickly and are a good starter project for newbies to crochet.
